I have fun with pinwheels on baby quilts. Shoo fly is also a good one...not any harder than a nine patch.

Yellow Brick Road is my favorite quilt pattern. It is so easy and really fun to make!!

I use the Rail Fence pattern a lot. It is easy & looks so nice when you have finished it. Good luck picking your pattern.

Snow ball is an easy and fun one to make. If you have time fussy cut the square and add colorfull corners. If all corners throught out the quilt are the same color you will get a secondary pattern! You can make these blocks any size you want!

My favorite pattern is Swirl by P&B Textiles. It is just HST but the way you use the fabric makes a great design.

Hi
Why don't you try some strip quilting..... it is very easy and relaxing. |
Disappearing 9 patch is my current passion. It's super simple and gives great looking quilts. Lots of ways you can tweak it and get a compeletly different look.

Dorothy,
I like the "Just Can't Cut It" pattern by All Washed Up. I have made 2 of them so far & they go together in just a day. I posted a picture of one I made my DGD for Christmas. Sorry, I don't know how to get the link here for you but it is on about page 10 of the pictures section. Look for my name and you can find it. Polly C |
