Hello! I would like to start bookmarking quilt blogs. I have my own blog, but it's a mix of everything (quilting, sewing, cardmaking, mixed media). If you have a blog, and would like me to bookmark your blog, or if you could recommend some outstading blogs out there, I would really appreciate it.

I am a visual learner, and I look at blogs for inspiration and to learn from. I'm still new at quilting, so I need all of the help I can get.

Thank you.

In Google go to search blogs and then search for quilts, quilting. You'll find thousands. But I think you know that. When I find a blog, usually it has a blog ring to follow. The blog rings link to each other so there is a never ending line of blogs to check out. My favorite blog is Bonnie Hunter's Quilts and Snips.

Here is a site that has a forum just for people to blog about quilts. I am personally not a member, but it looks fun!

I thought that I would mention a proposal here. Maybe someone would be interested.

If you have a quilting blog and you want to get some exposure in the quilting community to share some of your knowledge, then please contact me via PM.

I can run some of your articles in the newsletter and link to your blog in the resource box. This way, people would get a chance to read some of your stuff, and if they like what they are reading, they can easily follow the link straight to your blog to read more.

I'm looking for many different authors to diversify things and make it a better reading experience for all subscribers.

This is a fantastic idea. I would love to go one spot that is dedicated to quilt blogs, and nothing but. I appreciate that we have a section devoted to links and resources, but it's a mish-mash of everything on the Internet. Blogs are specific to one artist's style and all of the projects they have completed. Tutorials are a bonus.

I just usually search for 'quilt blogs' when I am surf'n blogs and a kazillion come up:)

Here's a big question I have always wondered and all you that blog can maybe answer it.
I'm just a country girl and I have always really wanted to know a few things...don't be offended, I am serious:)

'why do you blog'?
'What started you blogging'?
'Aren't you afraid of others stealing your creative ideas since they are all w/in reach (public)of those that always do anyways?'
'How did you do (start)your blog/it?'.....thanks Skeat
