You GO Girl....doing great !!!!!

Beth Dishong 02-21-2011 08:38 AM

You are doing fantastic, keep it up and you will be done in no time. We moved from a large house where I had a large extra bedromm for my office and craft room and we had to move to a small apartment last August. Long story short I am still working on setting up and organizing my room but, you have inspired me and I am going to have some lunch and get started on my room again. If I keep it up I bet I can get it done in a day or 2. Thanks for the inspiration.

brenda21 02-21-2011 08:44 AM

Hi Debbie, I am kinda new here but have been following your progress. I have been cleaning and rearranging my room for 3 weeks now. Can you tell me when you started? I just want to know how long it's gonna take me. Thanks

kittykatz2001 02-21-2011 08:54 AM

BTW, forgot to say your room is looking great.

Maria C 02-21-2011 09:09 AM

wow - well done. If I were there I would love to help. It is right up my alley to reorganise rooms like yours and I have done this with a few friends. Marvelous effort to do on your own. Keep it up

Hi there and welcome to the board. You are only about 3 hours north of me. I started two days ago and spent 4-8 hours a day in there. Still have more to go and as a matter of fact I am heading in there now. Had my coffee and hubby fixed me a nice breakfast. He is so good to me. I'm sure he is glad I can finally get the fabric in the hallway and out of my trunk and back in that room. LOL Off I go. More pictures later.

Wow, finally someone in Texas. Love meeting new people especially quilters. Boy, you sure are fast. But I have to go slow and be careful not to fall. Have had a few accidents and couldn't or didn't feel like sewing for a couple of years. But I am really ready to get back to it. Thanks for the welcome. katie

that is a good question. I thought I had a lot of "stash", my husband says I have too much, but, I see yours and mine looks like I just did one trip to the quilt shop. How much of each and how often do you and all of you other ladies buy to build up your stash? Thank you all for the wonderful advise to give. It is so helpful and FREE!

champagnebubbles 02-21-2011 10:39 AM

Getting there!

zoey 02-21-2011 10:54 AM

Your before pictures made me laugh thanks for posting them. I feel so much better about my mess now and am also jealous yours is on it's way to being under control. Good job.

zoey 02-21-2011 10:57 AM

If I see a fabric I just have to have I buy it and know it will work in with one of my projects or become its on project and I also stock up on sales and use coupons and of course I always buy extra when I am buying fabric for a specific project.

Maralyn 02-21-2011 11:33 AM

Debbie, you know what they say, "if you can't be a glowing example be a horrible warning. Sometime I use these pictures to show my husband how big other stashes are .Are you like me and ashamed when we find the amount of stuff we have that we forgot( and sometime replaced?). It really is an addicition.

aronel 02-21-2011 12:28 PM
