I am so proud

of myself. I have been working on a log cabin quilt for the last two weeks. I have made some mistakes. Not as many as I did when I started quilting. The best part is I discover them sooner alot less seem riping. I must be improving.

Congratulations! Can't wait to see pictures of your quilt. My next quilt will be a log cabin. Hope I'll be proud of mine too.

Good for you! Learning is good! I need to start challenging myself more. I've been sticking with patterms I am comfortable with, but I need to step out of my comfort zone soon. Well, maybe after the *next* one ... LOL

You will improve with every quilt, but you will also see your mistakes quicker than others see them. You have to learn not to obsess about the mistakes. Looking forward to seeing your quilt!

Congrats on that discovery.
Isn't it great! I know i'm finding my mistakes faster to before I get to far into the peicing . It is nice the mistakes become easier to spot and fix. I've learned some much from the people here that the learning curve is better for me.
