One that you chose your photo or design, print it on the special paper, iron it on your garment - or in my case, white fabric square - then peel it off and VIOLA. I thought it would be neat to make a family quilt but I'm a little intimidated. I need a push, I think. I checked the tutes to see if anyone had done this but didn't see anything.

I have used two kinds: Printed Treasures sells one that you can print on the special fabric, peel the backing and press onto something. The quality of the print is good but is too stiff for quilting. The other kind prints directly on fabric with no glue and you can sew onto a quilt. Is really soft and easy to use and the quality of the print is very good. You just have to make sure the you increase the saturation of the print because the fabric tends to absorb more of the ink than paper does. They are both the size of computer printer and 5 sheets sell for about $18.

I'm sure you can do it. Just jump in and start.

A heads up...I used the iron on transfers for some of my kids tshirts for special occasions. They tend to crackle and peel... Just something to think about
