Tonight I bought a Queen Quilter Eighteen long arm machine!!!! I can't have it delivered for about 3 1/2 weeks  . Then I have to schedule the guy who will come and set it up for me. So I think it will probably be about 5 weeks before I can even try it. Then I will be back at work. Oh, I think I am going to be sick in the middle of September! I must say my dear, dear husband is the one who encouraged me to go ahead and get it. I really got lucky with him!!!!

You are going to have so much fun! |
Hey, Cathie, you are in Garland, I'm in Dallas (White Rock Lake area). . . Can I be your best friend?
The long arm is great news, and I'm excited on your behalf. Good for you! Blessings on the head of your DH who encouraged you to make the purchase. He's a keeper! |
Hey, mom, you bet!!!
|
How exciting! I dream about getting a long arm, too, but I know there are so many different kinds that I hardly know where to start. I bought a retirement townhouse in Colorado where I will have the room (not possible here in Hawaii), so I'm trying to learn about which ones people really love. Hope to get to Houston next yearwhere there should be plenty of vendors for long arms.
Enjoy your wonderful new toy! Barb |
Hooray for you!!!!!!!
|
You are really going to have fun now. I must warn you, it is more addicting than piecing.
|
Congratulations! You have a whole new qulting world ahead of you. Remember to practice, practice, practice (PPP) and your quilts will look beautiful. Enjoy.
