I bought a new machine.

I put my Juki 2010 on a Cutie Breeze frame and went to shop to buy another one for piecing. Found the Juki Hzt ht 710. It was on sale for 40% off. I did a quick search online and it was half price at most online machine shops. I guess a newer version is coming out. It has every feature I could ask for. It was $449 at the local shop and no shipping of course. I am really impressed with the quality of it.

How fun! A new machine is such a feel good item to buy.

I told my husband if I bought a new machine for general sewing, it would be a Juki. I'm very impressed with the quality of their machines.

I also got a new Juki, but haven't used it enough yet. I have a superstition about finishing a quilt with the same machine... but the next one will be sewn on it.

I was unfamiliar with this model, and wow, a portable machine with a thread cutter and a drop down bobbin at a reasonable price. It isn't a speed demon but fast enough (faster than my current portable) and that's what I got the home machine was the speed.

Some things make you go hmm and reconsider what you already have...

There is also a lock stitch button. And the needle threader actually works. Much better than the one one on the 2010.

Looks like a wonderful machine with so many handy features. One question for you.
Does it have a walking foot in the accessories or is it built into the machine?

It came with walking foot and free motion foot.
I found how to move the needle to get a perfect 1/4" seam. I had to watch a youtube video as sewing machine manuals are not written for me to understand and this one is no exception.
