I can't sew a stitch. I'm too excited. #1 I got the first copies of my book yesterday. I can't tell you the rush I got when I saw them. I had to sit down and read all evening. My DH said,"How many times have you read that thing?" I told him, probably a hundred but never in PRINT. Ye Haaaaaa! I posted it in the classified section so if you want to look..... Be my guest.
#2 I went to check out how my things did in the fair. I got 10 Blue ribbons on my canned vegetables and one red. Then I got a 2nd on my chicken scratch pillow. 3rd on a pillowcase, second on my Sunbonnet Sue baby quilt, 2nd on my double wedding ring, and third on the sunflower one. My DH got 2nd on his first quilt!!
I guess I'll have to take a chill pill and get on with it so I'll be ready for next year. But for now,,, I'm flying pretty HIGH!!!
