I went and bought a new ruler last week - well, I've already managed to run my blade into it, and now the ruler has a bit of a "dip" along the cutting edge, towards the bottom, of course - can anything be done??

Is it a june taylor? I've not had much luck with that brand. I wont buy them anymore.

No, it's Fon's & Porter 60 degree pyramid. Now that I think of it, I've never had this issue before. Maybe it's the ruler and not me!

Glad you told us as that is the next ruler that I plan to buy and I have never had a Fon's and Porter and may think twice before I do

I saw them do Twirling Triangles on their show, so I went and bought the ruler with my 50 percent off Joanne coupon. I've turned the ruler over. The blade has trouble going up but not down the chip. I just hope it doesn't happen now on this side. Then I'll have to buy another one because I'm so far into the quilt. It would be a huge waste of fabric!

I think I'd attempt to return it....

I think you're right. Maybe I'll take a ride over tomorrow to Joannes....I'll tell them I think it's defective. I got the last one when I purchased it - I hope they got more in!
