I finished hand quilting my quilt, and have the binding left to do. I am so happy!!!!! This is my first quilt, and I really really didn't want to have tons of quilt tops that I never finished, so I made myself not start something new, and continue working on my quilt. Now is the binding, which I'm pretty scared of. Never done it before so I'm sure I'll mess up, but even if I do, I will have finished my first quilt! If I wasn't so tired I'd do a happy dance!

Binding is easy compared to what you have done, so don't be afraid. If you like hand quilting, you will probably like sewing down the binding, I do. Can't wait to see pictures!!

Take a deep breath. If you can make a quilt, you can certainly conquer the binding!

Watch the youtube video's they help me a lot on the binding, especially the corners, they are starting to get eaiser all the time.

I don't know why so many people are afraid of binding their quilts. I love reaching the binding stage because it means I'm almost finished another quilt.
Don't let it scare you. Remember it's only a strip of fabric a couple of inches wide. You go for it girl and Happy Quilting.
