I've been playing with the idea of starting a blog and I finally did it tonight! I wanted a place to share what I'm creating and to share my inspirations. Now, any ideas of a creative name to refer to dh and my daughter by?

Just a family joke but DH is right brain and DD is left brain. Left is physical, right is intellect. LOL

I went to your blog I like the pattern with the apron on it.
Where did you find that.

When I blog about our travels I refer to my DH as "driver". Seemed logical. Does your daugher have a hobby or a vocation? ie: catlover or... red (if her hair is red) Kinda early in the morn for me to be thinking straight, I guess.

Don't have a clue for your DH, but the first thing that comes to mind for a red headed girl is Pipi Longstocking.

Love the content, but with my old eyes it is hard to read the skinny letters against a busy background. Great apron block!

The apron pattern was part of a pattern she had bought. I'm not sure of the name...grannies aprons? or something like that

Thank you. I've changed the background of the posts and hope that helps. It's great to have input from someone that hasn't been staring at it so much, while getting it ready with buttons,etc.

quiltergirl, I also, have a blog. It is very plain with medium brown solid background with black lettering. I was told I needed to 'spice' it up and get a busier background. I won't because I don't want the background to take away from my quilts!
