I have been working on Kelli's DWR quilt all day today. I have NEVER stuck myself so many time in one day before!!

OMG my fingers are sore and I feel like a pin cushion!

Do they make pin proof gloves?

Do they make pin proof gloves?

Love the idea, but I'd need a full body suit!

I always say that it's not a gift of love if you haven't drawn blood at least once during the making of a project! :)

Oh, your poor fingers. I can just feel your pain, as I am so good at doing the very same thing!! Take a little time off & let your wounds heal!!

I have ripped my fingers on the "T" pins I use on the long arm machine. Boy does that hurt. Another stick I hate is when the eye of the needle goes through your nail.

Also hydrogen peroxide will get blood out of anything even dried! take a clean cotton ball and pour peroxide on it and dab with a clean cotton ball (change cotton balls frequently) until it is all out. the peroxide reacts with the protiens in the blood and makes it bubble out of the fabric. Thanks to a nurse friend for the great tip.

EVERY TIME I start sewing rows together I end up poking myself in the b**b at least once! It never fails! My DH laughs and says at least getting poked there isn't going to leave blood on the quilt! I tell him his compassion is overwhelming!
