Very pretty quilt and the butterflies remind me of an old quilt my Grandma had on her bed. What was it that needed repaired?

SillySusan 03-28-2019 01:46 PM

That’s a very pretty quilt. I’m also on the “what needed to be fixed” curiosity list. :)

Beautiful butterfly quilt. Would not have known any repair had been made.

lindaschipper 03-29-2019 03:28 AM

It is a nice quilt. I'm curious as to what was fixed...what did you do?

quilterpurpledog 03-29-2019 03:28 AM

Beautiful and so nostalgic. Very worthy of being repaired so that its beauty can continue to be enjoyed.

sJens 03-29-2019 06:09 AM

Add me to that list! Do you have before pictures?

One of the reasons I asked is that I have a similar one. I bought it in an estate sale. It was raw edge appliqued and is beginning to fray around the butterfly edges. I'm not sure how I can fix it, other than fray check.
