I found it! I found it!!

A few weeks ago, on one of the threads, someone mentioned a wavy line stitch. I was amazed by this (don't judge me and my ignorance). I was convinced that my mom's machine didn't have such a thing. Well, lo' and behold!! I found it today!! I love it!! I was making a larger receiving blanket for my grandbaby. She loves the one a friend of mine made for her but she's outgrowing it already. And I needed a decorative stitch to put around the edge so I was playing around with the wheels and there it was!! I just had to share!!

It's amazing how we stop seeing our own things but never miss other peoples.

So many treasures right in front of us.

Sometimes we should just slow down and play with our machines. we just done know what we will find.

It is always a good idea to try EVERY stitch on your machine...even sewing with a wider stitch width, or elongating to see what it looks like..and to remember to record somehow with the lengths and widths if you want to use it again.

I made a stitch sampler of all my decorative stitches. It didn't take long to make and it has been a big time saver since.

The stitch sampler is a great idea!

what a good idea! I keep a sewing/quilting journal of what I make and where I have sent them so this would be a good page for the back to have handy. would make for quicker decisions. I have a brother that was mom's. its gotta be over 15 years old cause she has been gone for 10 yrs. runs fine. I use a Denim and Silk Euro Pro that for me is great. Knock on wood, it's running good and I have had it since 2000 I think.

Having a stitch sampler of decorative stitches sounds like a great idea! Hope it happens soon!
