I have the best chiropractor ever!
Dh and I have a young chiropractor who is always asking what we are 'now up to'? (We are a younger-than-average retired couple.) Today's appointment got around to quilting. While waiting for the Dr. to come into our treatment room, I mentioned to dh that the roll of paper used on the treatment tables would be great for pp. My dh is normally so quiet, but he pipes up and says to the good Dr., deb would like to buy a roll of your paper for her quilting projects. Naturally this initiated a whole conversation around quilting and exactly how would the paper be used in the process.
It was a good feeling today to leave the office knowing I'm doing my body good by going there and that the good Dr. is also 'treating' me mentally. He gave me a roll of the paper! Now, off to find an appropriate 'Thank you' card for him. |
You could always make him a quilt!

A mug rug for his office desk. They have so much paper work these days to satisfy the gov't. I love my chiropractor! Yours sounds like a good one, too.

Thanks, I am seeing a chiro 3times a week and I never thought of this. I may ask for a sample!

Gee ... when I told my chiropractor that my shoulders/neck were so tight from quilting his only comment was "you mean those blankets that old ladies make?". Grrrrrrrrr

That's a great chiropractor you have! You can also ask for the ends of the newsprint rolls if there's a press near you. They are a bit lighter weight, and the businesses are usually happy to give them away. (And they still have many MANY yards on them. The one roll I was given will last me the rest of my life.)

Went to my chiro today and asked for a sample of the paper. He said let me give you a whole roll! Lucky me. I think a mug rug is in order!
