Who do you recommend for DVD tutorial on LAQ? I ordered mine online from far away and don't have access for help so I need help!

There are some very good tutes on Youtube. Leah Day has several there but there are also others that might get you started.

If you search on this site there are a large number of links that you may well find helpful. Just go to 'search' and enter fmq.

Sorry, misread. Thought you were asking about fmq and not lmq. I am dislexic - worse some days than others.

What kind of long arm help are you needing? Just general like loading etc? or the actual quilting. What kind of frame do you have? There are 2 long arm sites I like. One is a subscription site (yearly fee is about $28). It has been so worth it for me. They have videos on different quilting techniques.
www.mqresource.com www.longarmuniversity.com Best part of both of those is that they are full of long arm quilters who have been where you are, and know how to help you...and they listen! (oh..and they are GREAT cheerleaders too!) PM me if you like... |
I have some but I like Suzanne Michelle Hyland DVD's
www.handiquilter.com ( not her new one's) Her first 3 DVD's. Quilting Backgrounds,Quilting Borders and Quilting Blocks & Motifs she's with HQ sixteen Hope this helps.. |
OH I forgot! check out www.pajamaquilter.com ! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE Dawn. I have her 1st DVD..and her second is on my wish list! Free motion for the faint at heart. She will hold your hand and have you quilting great stuff in no time. SO fun!
