Someone posted the winners list, with links to pictures of all the winners in the show. I looked at all of them, and only 2 did I save to my desktop. I'm a scrap quilter, but both of the quilts I liked the most were controlled colors on black. Hmmm. Maybe I ought to go buy some yardage instead of remnants, huh?

Cant tell by pictures but I wonder if some of them arent intricate applique and not large fabric pieces but I just cant tell. Eiither way they are beautiful!!!! You can achieve the same looks though with large pieces I think depending on the quilting!!!

Wow, I am so impressed by these quilts! I will never achieve anything like these are!! Amazing!

I also understand, due to flooding concerns, the show is spread out all over town this year. The 2 years I went, it was spread out, but still located in the downtown area. That may not be the case this year since downtown is directly on the river. And I agree with you, posting the winners early can be a disappointment to actually seeing the show, unless you want to go for the vendors or for something special alone.

Thanks for posting the link. Those quilts were truly amazing. Did you notice over 90% were applique?
