{Yes! I take pictures of everything I make, and lots of them. When I get them developed, I put them in my Special picture albums that I keep in my sewing room. I always buy the type like in these pictures with the space between the pictures, so I can write about the pictures. I do lots of crafts (knit, crochet, plastic canvas, etc. etc.), and I started years ago to do this.
It is a good way to remember, years later, what you did, for who, how big, whatever. I also have a calendar to write on until I get my pictures developed, so I don't forget dates.
Plus when I save pictures, I name and date them. That way when I get the pictures, I can copy dates off the computer or calendar}.

I have made pictures of my projects and put them in a file on the computer. I need to remember to add dates to these too. Your ideas are very handy.

sawsan, I also have what I call "My Quilt Journal". Its a school notebook, spiral bound. I put the date I started the quilt and the name of the quilt at the top. I write the name of the book the pattern came from or the author of the pattern. And throughout the piecing process I write information that would be helpful if I were to make the quilt again. Listing block size, the embroidery designs used, etc. I put the finished size of the quilt. And the name of the longarm quilter. At the bottom of the page I write in who the quilt went to. Wheather it was for a birth, birthday, granddaughter, niece, etc. I take a picture and print it out and staple it on the back. If I worked out the pattern on gragh paper I staple it on the back as well. sometimes I'll even stable a piece of the fabric on the back too.
