I am making a log cabin quilt for my sister. I have been going around one way, but, on one strip instead of sewing with the seam in one way, I have it sewn the other. The strips are the right color and in the right place, it's just one seam on one is sewn up and down while the other is across. I don't think it is a problem as it is just being consistent. Hope I am explaining myself correctly

I did the same. However it bothered me alot. Took them out and done them right. Was alot happier then

It shouldn't make any difference when it's backed and quilted. That's my criteria for how much ripping to do.

Think of it as an "I meant to do that" Finish it up and it will be a quilters I spy quilt

Would probably take less time to fix it than it does to worry about it.

If it really bothers you, pick it out and redo it. If not just let it go and it probably won't even be noticed when the quilt is completed.

Design decision :)
