I messed up

Is there anyway to correct this without taking all the stitches out?

If this is the back, then I would just take a fold in it and hand sew it down. Folks won't be looking that closely at the back. If it is the front, I would rip it and fix it.

Sorry, but I would take it out, it doesn't look quilted very close so it wouldn't take too long. just saying, I recently spent three days taking out three 12"rows of longarm machine quilting.
Your will be happier when it's done. |
I would also take it out.

It depends- If you are all done and that's the only wrinkle, I might use an invisible ladder stitch with matching thread to sew the extra fabric in. If it's at an edge, I would remove the quilting and fix it.

Thank you all. It is in the back and I'm done with the quilting. This is for my 3 yo granddaughter to sleep with at my house. She just wants it done and due to a broken bone this has taken way longer than it should have so removing all the stitches is not an option. It is in the middle. I like the idea of stitching it down. Thanks again.

You could also snip it, fold the edges under, and ladder stitch the edges together.

My thought was like the others, sew the edge down. Or you can put a label or an applique over it.

I recently had the same problem after I had quilted 2 rows - fairly heavily. I have so say I ripped out everything (I used an electric razor type ripper) and it worked pretty well. I reloaded the quilt and it's now down and I couldn't be happier. It was well worth the time it took to rip it out and fix it.

It might be a good place to applique either a cute design or a label.
