I've had a few PM's with Slk350 over the past couple of months, and today we finally met :thumbup: :thumbup:
We live in the same town and have both been busy with other things, but today it happened, also joining us was board member gensquilts, and our friends Marci and Linda, Marci is a board member (don't know her board name) Linda is going to join :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: . We met at my salon and quilted together some, talked a lot, laughed a lot. We made plans to meet again in 2 weeks. Gensquilts, Marci and I knew each other before we found the board, but love calling one another and saying "look what I saw". I hope Slk350 shows you guys what she was working on today, it's a shower gift for her daughter who is getting married in April, it's VERY IMPRESSIVE and whimsical. Any of you other guys and gals in our area please come join us the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. Today, before we knew it 4 hours had passed.

This board is an amazing venue for meeting new people with varied talents and life experiences. I'm so glad I found it accidently one day and joined!!!

It just goes to prove what a small world it really is and who you may meet from your home town. Quilter's are such wonderful people and we have so much in common.
