I can empathize, mine were teddy bears. I had trouble cutting off their little heads and paws, and told them I was sorry.

Even as a little kid I had trouble with animal crackers. I'd always have to bite the head off first, so they couldn't feel the rest of the bites. Same with chocolate bunnies.

And yep, I've taken my meds for the day...

In a heart beat I would (kill a snake). Of course I think it is neat I have trained my dogs to take care of this for me, only thing is I "cheer" them on and they try to bring it to me! So I just say "kennel" and point to the kennel and they run there with the snake.....this posting is all to funny :)

I have been on synthroid for over 20 years so I don't miss very often. Learned after taking radioative iodine. Know what happens if not taken. Thanks for being concerned. :P

Me also. Had one dog that was snake bit and it wasn't pleasant though. Wish I got to it first. (Lived by a canal)

Oh, my gosh....that is nasty. I would not train my dogs to kill anything that would hurt them, as they(dogs) are my world. These snakes are gardener snakes....for some unknown reason our house is surrounded by them.....however, lately there has been less! Hopefully is due to the dogs helping me out. When first moved here snakes actually sunned themselves on front step into house.

I'd only start worrying when the printed bugs talk back to you!! :P

I was going down through comments to see what states were represented. I knew we had Canada represented but was pleasantly surprised to see Ireland.

Ain't this site "Just Grand"!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. I have relatives that are buried in Ireland and I think they might be near you. I'll have to ask my niece she has the records.

Yes, this "site" is grand....But how are you going to explain to the relatives that you would like information about your family in Ireland and how this all came about over a posting of a lady "cutting through bugs, etc on her material"? I think we may get a new title as "Crazy Quilters" LOL

I have only bought a couple of jelly rolls but they don't have any selvedge on them. Are yours different than mine? also, I get the ants to walk onto a sheet of paper and drop them outside! AND about once a year I have the exterminator come and spray the house so they won't come in--I guess I must think if they make it in they deserve a second chance to live-LOL
