Hi everyone, Can anyone tell me how to frame a miniature quilt without causing future damage to the quilt? Thanks.

Is this one being made or is it an antique.
If you check Joanns they have all kinds of frames that put no pressure on things. Some are rather more like shadow boxes or collection boxes. They always have a 50% coupon on frames

The only other way I know of is to attach fabric to the frame and then baste the quilt to the fabric. Make sure it isn't hung where direct sunlight will effect the quilt, and if behind glass.....there is a special glass to get to help reduce the effects of light being amplified through to the fabric.

Thanks for your help. The quilt is already made but not an antique. I thought it would be fun to hang it with a frame since it's so small. Thanks again.
