I need a bichon frise applique!

I want to make a baby quilt by making my own pattern. What I want is a simple applique pattern of a bichon front on (head and shoulders, front legs) that I will make out of chenille. I want to applique it on a pretty flannel, then all around the flannel, chanille blocks of variety of colors. I CANNOT find a bichon pattern that is simple!!!!!!! Anyone have a suggestion? I thought maybe looking at clip art of bichons, but nothing is taking my fancy.......

How about starting with one of those clip arts and simplifying it enough to work with? You could do the same thing with any photo you like. Make a paper copy of it, then on that copy, use a marker to draw the lines that define the different parts, etc.

Maybe you could contact this member and see if she would design one for you, I see she has done some lovely dog ones recently.http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...n-t178344.html
