http://www.hancocks-paducah.com/ItemList--Bargain-Basement-for-$3.98--m-635

Will someone go to the above site. It is on the page that is marked down to $ 3.98 Would you please tell me if the items say $1.99 per 1/2 yard. That is what it is suppose to be. But when I go there it is a different price. Hancocks say it is my cookies in my PC. Can someone check for me. Need fabric for a quilt and those prices are great if that is the prices. Please and Thank you :? :D

That's what I see....$1.98 for 1/2 yard....nice fabrics........going shopping
are we?????????

Cordelia 06-18-2008 11:12 AM

Wow, I could do some serious damage to my wallet.

They're 1.99 /half yard. But, 1.99 + 1.99 is 3.98 anyway. So, it's 3.98 a yard.

There's a bunch of different fabrics there I'd love to buy.

DonnaRae 06-18-2008 11:14 AM

Okay then it is my pc. I keep getting $4.98. Geez, and I have been giving them a hard time. Guess I need to opoligize...Thanks for helping me.

Check your internet settings. You can reach them through Control panel or Internet explorer

tools> Internet options>Browsing history>Settings
Click on " Check for newer versions every time I visit a web page"
Tell it ok

Depending on your windows version and browser, it may be slightly different wording.

you can clear your cookies go to tools

DonnaRae 06-18-2008 11:52 AM

Okay, I cleaned my cookies. I needed to do that before changing anything in my internet settings or those cookies would be there anyway. It is done and alright now. Except I hate cleaning my cookies. It makes you resign in everywhere, just like I just had to do here. Blah...Thanks everyone!!!

I just got some of that blue hot air balloon quilt backing fabric from them last week! In fact, it hasn't made it from the car to the house yet (I have stuff delivered to work)! It was $4.48/yard then, so it's even better now! And even with the shipping that is cheap for 108" wide fabric & it is nice fabric! :)

DonnaRae 06-18-2008 12:33 PM

I did not even notice it was 108 backing. Oh baddy back I go. :D

next time, try just deleting your temporary files. i don't normally need to crumble my cookies when i run into that problem. you might not, either.

DonnaRae 06-18-2008 12:51 PM

Yeah that's what I thought too so I did that and it still would not work. So I tried everything I could think of to not delete my cookies, but finally I had to bite the bullet. Must have been one dang cookie hanging it up, that is all I can figure. I cleaned my registry, my files everything and nothing worked untill I cleaned out my cookies. Oh well, it's done now. Little by little I have to resign in everywhere. Again, BLAH

When I delete cookies that doesn't take out the sign in items they stay until i delete temp files.

you can also go to your main start menu and hit run

type in prefetch when it opens delete all these are all sites that are stored just from looking at them. first time i had almost 700 and boy did my puter run fast after i got rid of them lol

good luck

DonnaRae 06-18-2008 02:34 PM

Aren't those the temp files? Because I delete those about every other day or so.

grammo013 06-18-2008 04:27 PM

no they can be different. i do temps once every week and prefetch twice a day because i look at so many things

DonnaRae 06-18-2008 07:57 PM

Hmmm, I am going to check it out. I have a program called Easy Cleaner that I run every once in a while, and it supposely cleans all the files but I wonder. First I am going to do what you said. Then wait a few days, run Easy Cleaner and the the prefetch to see. Thanks, never heard this before. I love to learn new things!
