I need help

Please don't take this as criticism, but lately there have been many posts that start with "I need help". It would be better if some key words are added to define the problem. That statement isn't very descriptive, and sometimes I'm reading something that I have no interest in or that I know nothing about. Also finding the post later is very difficult without more description.

I agree!! Or, 'Look what I made', it would be helpful to have more info in the title. I know I skip over lots of posts that have little description.

Amen. Would also like to add how nice it is, when the poster comes back and thanks people, for the help.

Hovering over the title will give you the first sentence of the post, a lot of times you can see what the problem is. However, I do agree, the more specific a title is, the better!

This suggestion has been suggested many times here. Then the poster wonders why there are 150 view of their topic and only 5 responses.... I pop in and check the first post and if there are lots of posts I don't always leave a response or if it isn't anything I know about I don't post. I also choose the posts I want to open in the first place. I never read everything on any of my forums. If I did I'd never leave my chair LOL!

I agree. If you are asking for help, you want the people who can help you to notice and they should not have to work to find out they can be of help. And this is the place where there is so much talent and so much generosity.

That doesn't work on my iPad!

Thanks. I was thought long and hard before posting. I didn't want to offend anyone. I do hover over many posts to get the general idea of what they are asking or to make sure I haven't already read the post. I agree, everyone on here are so helpful and knowledgable.

I always read the I Need Help ones, therefore I get a free lesson from all you wonderful people. Thank you so much for sharing you knowledge.

OK, I had to laugh at a post titled "I need help" that complained about people who put titles like that for their topic :)
