I need ideas!

Before September 2nd I need to make some small homemade gifts for some male extended family members in Bolivia.

The 11-yr-old is easy, but I have two college-age males and their father as well. I can make small purses or shopping totes for the females, but I don't know what to do for these 3 males. If they have laptops or other PCs I don't know about them.

[For the 11-yr-old I will make a pouch for a special spinner or two, probably not so common in Bolivia.]

Any ideas?

Coasters...maybe? In very "manly" colors....

How about luggage tags.
If you google Quilted Luggage Tags, there are quite a few pics including tutorials available.

These can be used for luggage, a carry on bag, a sports bag, lots of other things beside luggage.... great idea!

Most of the men in my family love to cook- I've made kitcheny items for them.

Cooks aprons or PJ bottoms (jammie pants). EZ lap quilts / flannel backs.

If they wear glasses then perhaps one of those snap top glasses cases. Very easy to open by just pinching the sides together and they slip into the top pocket of a shirt.

Mug rugs? Small wallhangings for office/bedrooms?

Duffel bag?
Funny necktie?
Wallet?
It probably doesn't get cold enough in Bolivia for this, but those wrap-around earmuffs?

I love the PJ bottoms idea, btw.
