I just googled that pattern. What is it that is the problem? Half square triangles? Or how to put them together as a block?

One of my favorite bloggers did that pattern:

http://vermontquilter.blogspot.com/2...-lot-like.html

If you read her posts from that time, she describes working on it and different thoughts on layout for it. Interesting!

That is one gorgeous quilt!

Ok, gotta ask: does anyone know where the name for that block came from?

Your avatar is cool. My husband has always wondered how the bobbin works, so I was able to show him.

Then it goes into your 'pictures'.

I don't know who was clever enough to think up the avatar..
Shame cos I would really like to thank them..

I really like your avatar, but have failed miserably at saving it as anything but a gif. non-animated.

The avatar is cool but I really want to see the quilt when you are done......

ladeg 12-30-2010 07:29 AM

I saved the picture and right clicked it and clicked on open with and checked Quick Time, (Media Player may work also). This way it did animate. Now I have to figure out how to loop it so that it plays continuously. Hope this helps
