Thanks everyone. I agree thread painting would look great, if I can pull it off. I need to watch some tutorials & give it a good try. Now, just need to find the thread & I will post a picture when I get it finished. (Just don't hold your breath) I live a ways from a small town, so will have to wait for my big shopping day in a larger town.

I just finished on like this! I'm not very good and not able to figure out how to picture, but it is beautiful and a plain fabric on the back is gorgeous! Because you can see it on the back too!

I just finished mine similar to this, I stitched around the borders, flowers and wings and added bling with swarkofski crystals, I looks really cute :). I am giving it to my niece on Thursday.
