I have LOTS of purple fabric in yardage, fat quarters, and many shades. Needless to say, it is one of my favorite colors. Does anyone have a pattern suggestion as to how to use up bunches of these? Thanks in advance for your help!

The first quilting class I took was to make a quilt that was simply called 'On-Point'. We had to choose one color and get an eighth of a yard of either 24 or 28 different fabrics of that color. I will look and see if I can find some information and a picture for that quilt. I chose black for my color.

One of the prettiest quilts I ever made was various purples, lavenders, and yellows. It was a 'Loco Log Cabin'.

I think you can use purples in any pattern, as long as you have various shades. Log cabins look great in purples.

I did a crossroads in purples and love it! That is what I did with all mine. It is one of my favorite patterns for scraps.
