Some people call it "tossed" or "chinese" coins and the black reall shows off the colors of the other strips.

also a link to one I did with the Indian Hatchet block. With6 inch squares, you could use a 3 inch square in the corners. It is an easy block to make, and looks great in all colors. Good luck, and have fun with it! |
