I have fabric that has Corvettes from four different years. The largest Corvette is 12 inches wide. I am looking for suggestions of how to make a quilt top out of it. I have considered pretending the different Corvettes are t-shirts and making a t-shirt quilt, but surely there are different designs I could use? Does anyone have any ideas?

I don't have a picture of the fabric, but you can see it at this address...I think.

I bet an attic window pattern would show these of very nicely!!

What about alternating them- big patch of the vette material and then a 4 patch of different fabrics ? that way you could showcase the bigger prints

What about a BQ quilt?

I agree, any of the BQ patterns would work well. I have made several and they are perfect for large scale prints.

I am a fairly new quilter, what is a BG pattern? Guess I will google that.
Thanks. I will explore all these suggestions. |
There is a pattern called Just can't cut it that uses 12.5" inch squares of a focus fabric along with a couple of other fabrics for the alternating blocks.

Turning Twenty - Around the Block - Book 3 in the series has some neat patterns for working with large blocks. I searched for my copy to do something with the Laurel Burch fabric that I have which has large patterns, but not necessarily even patterns.
