I have the blocks made and sewn into rows but am having a terrible time trying to sew the rows together. Am I doing something wrong? I'm a beginner quilter having only made patchwork quilts so far. Thanks for any suggestions ---- :D

If it is matching the seams, then baste glue the seams where they match. When you have the row basted to your liking then sew it. Elmers School Glue is great for fabric basting, it washes out. Use a drop at each matching point and then press it dry.

It's trying to line up Row #1 with Row #2 and so on - matching points with the opposing indents (I guess you could call them). I use straight pins but things simply won't match up to make sewing them together reasonably easier. I'm thinking there may be a special way to do this?!?

Thank you for your reply because I'm stalled on this step for the time being.

Sometimes the pins seem to distort the seams, so I use Elmers Glue also. Here is a tute I made showing how I use it for seam alignments  NOTE*** I used more in the pictures than what you really need, so it would show up better. You don't have to buy the tips/special bottle, squeeze some glut out onto a piece of foil, and use a toothpick to dab it on. :D:D:D

Where's the tute? I got the adoption list.
