when chain stitching pieces together sometimes i must lift the presser foot to place the next one and then lower it and stitch.

I haven't tried it yet, but someone here mentioned glueing intersections together before chain piecing. She puts a tiny dot of glue on the intersection, then irons it in place. This would have to be Elmer's washable white glue, and I'm thinking one of those pinpoint tips would be helpful.

I can not find those tips for the glue. Can someone tell me where to find them.

Rita http://www.purpledaisiesllc.com/cgi-...action&key=223 and I found them once at Michael's in the area of the scrapbooking supplies. Joann Fabrics online carries a glue bottle that comes with a fine tip: http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog/p...ODID=xprd72728 Sometimes you can find them on craft sites that cater to model makers and/or scherenschnitte (European paper cutting) crafters. |
Thanks so much for the info. Going Shopping....
