I would like to make a simple backpack for my 16 month old grandson, and cnnot find a pattern in any of the main pattern companies. Anyone have a source for me? I tried a google search and found a couple of ideas, but they are not what i'm looking for. Thanks, Cathie

I think i made one way back in the 80's out of denim. probably still have the pattern but I bet it is brittle by now.

the current issue of Quilts and more (summer 2008 ) has a pattern called "Easy kid's carryall" it is a backpack.

Looks easy enough. Let me know if you would like a PM.

I will check it out on Monday. If it looks good, I may just go ahead and get the magazine. Thanks for the help. I love having about 2000 eyes to look for stuff
