Is there any computer savvy person out there that can help me with Facebook. I am getting the message that someone tried or has logged into my account and I can't get back in without changing my password. I am so leary of people hacking that I wonder if it is safe to create another password. I can't get in to delete my account. Thanks for any help.

I've gone through that a couple of times. You do have to change the password to get in, then once you're in you can delete the account. But you can't do it from "outside," unless someone else has found a way...

This happened to me. I just changed my password and haven't had any problems since. And regarding safety - really, if we're spending time on-line, creating accounts and posting stuff, then in my opinion, safety is out the window. I do have FB and spend little time on it, but yes, have personal pics posted and whatnot. No pertinent personal info. But, to answer your question, yea, I just changed the password and haven't had a problem.

This happened to my niece and every time she changed her password, it was hacked again. No one knew her new password but me and it was still changed.

Careful about clicking any links within your email. It could be a phishing scam intended to get your password by making you think you need to change it.

Go directly to the site. Log in and change your password from there.

BellaBoo - does your niece have spyware protection on her computer? Almost seems like she may have a virus that logs keystrokes.. so that the person that put it there, can track her keystokes, and will always be able to see what her password is.
