When I first started quilting I would start a quilt and completely finish it (quilting and all) before I started another. I don't know when it happened but now I have UFO's everywhere. Where did I go wrong. I just keep telling myself I will baste them all soon and be ready to quilt all winter long. OH, who am I kidding. :D :D :D :D :D :D

I know what happened to me, I used to finish my quilts, too but I NEED some "instant gratification" so I put the quilt aside & make a purse or a jacket or something else I can finish in a couple of days. Then I get a new quilting magazine & see something I HAVE to make! So there goes the next UFO!!!hahaha! Then the circle goes 'round' AGAIN!! I have WIP's stacked all over my sewing room but only 3 UFO's! But.....a lot of finished things, too! so, it all comes out even in the end, don't worry about it! hahaha! Keeps ya' going!

Oh my.... I am truly too scared to list my wips and ufos! LOL

I do exactly the same sewin'sam... I start something, then something comes along that I *have* to do, then there's something else, and suddenly I have too many to count.
I would like to list them out so I can get organised, but I'm scared it will be too depressing! LOL |
I've heard of a UFO but what's a WIP?
