I really needs some inspiration

I want to make two quilts for my grand-nieces but I just can't get any inspiration on what to do. Kylee is 6 and she likes purple, pink, and light blue. Sophia is 4 and she likes pink, lime green, and white (like Tinkerbell colors). I have these fabrics so far, 2 yards each of the Bella Solids in lavender, green and pink, and 6 yards of Bella White. I'm not much into making little girl things and I've just drawn a total blank whenever I try designing anything and after looking all over for a pattern I haven't found anything that grabs me either.

Any suggestions on what pattern? Fairly quick and easy? Maybe some machine applique if not too intricate?

What size of quilts? Are both the girls in twin beds?

The first thing that pops into my head is 'Rail Fence', the second is 'Warm Wishes' http://www.quiltmaker.com/patterns/d...html?idx=5185_ But you would want to get a 'focal' fabric.

They have full sized bunk beds. I was just thinking of some floral applique patterns I have and that maybe I could scan them and make them really big for a center panel for each quilt and then just frame them with bento box type squares using the FQs and JR of the Bella colors. Frame one center in the light blue and the other in the green, then use the pink and the purple for the borders.

Maybe a candy lane theme quilt. Or a shadow quilt. They are some beautiful colors. I'm sure whatever you make they are gonna be thrilled!!

Chinese coins is always a nice and it would look nice with those soft colours and white. Very girly!

I'd opt for the floral applique. Couldn't be prettier in these colors.

Did this real quick... the applique wouldn't be that one and I wouldn't do both with the same flowers. These would be 68" x 80". I could use more of the other colors in the flowers. The centers are 24" x 36".

Still looking at the suggestions!
