I'm sorry you are having issues with your new baby. Relax and enjoy tonight because tomorrow she will be fix and you will be quilting like crazy.

I'm sure you will enjoy it once you get all the quirks worked out! Congratulations and have fun!

I'm sorry for your frustration. I'm one of those type personalities too, it has to be right and it has to be now. (and I also used to ride a harley, you go girl). Hang in there, you will get it going.

I feel your pain...I have an 830...it is like the girl with the curl...when she was good she was very good but when she was bad she was horrid. Mine is at the dealers right now, after the bobbin mechanism had a meltdown. When she is sewing she is a dream, but when she is not it is a 2hour trip to the dealers....sigh...

So off to the dealers I go,....I have a brother Inovis for backup, one day in and I break a needle and it screws up something????? another 2 hour trip to the dealer....so my back up back up is my old reliable Bernina 830 record....it is doing a funny thing, so I have a guy who will repair it here, he is only 30min away...Who would figure that out of four machines three would break down all at once, I am afraid to touch the serger, it could explode as my luck is holding. Fortunately my good old 830 record held out till I finished the doll clothes I was making.

Good for you Nancy! How many times have we started something new and become frustrated, Stepping back and staying calm works every time. I could share some fiascos but we know how things go....hang in there and have fun.

Hope you get it all worked out.

Nancy: Sorry to hear your having problems. Hate that frustrated feeling. Seems like any new thing has a set of problems to work through before your done. Keep us posted on your progress, I'm sure you'll triumph in the end.

I have a Bernina 820. When you are threading the bobbin look at computer screen. There is a wire that you have to pull the thread through or machine quilting is not going to work right. Tension will be wrong. Takes practice. You should have gotten a small mirror, out underneath the bobbin holkder, you can see the wire. Tricky tho

I just figured out that if you fill the bobbin too full it won't work either. (Bernina)
