I should have known better
Yesterday I decided to do a pantograph on a baby quilt. I strayed away from my wonderful Superior thread and used some cheap thread mainly for the color, ( I will know to order the color i need next time.)Four rolls later I noticed it was skipping stitches sometimes an inch long.I decided to take it off the frame and will have to rip it all out. I will be going for my second knee replacement next week so I guess while I'm sitting in my recliner i will be ripping all those stitches. I guess it will give me something to do. I'm just sick...

How frustrating!!!! I really feel your pain!!!!!

Hope your knee replacement goes well and there is no pain at all! I am due for my second one too...but stalling. You will definitely have time to unstitch...in fact we should all send you out stuff that needs done!

Oh I feel your pain ... whenever I stray from my tried and true.... it seems I have more regrets than wonderful results...
Good luck on your surgery! Hope you have a vey quick recovery. |

oh no. A tip for on the quilting machine so you don't have to lean over to see underneath is to take a mirror on a handle to look under there. So sorry to hear that happened. :(

I don't use expensive threads on my domestic machine I quilt on and I have never had that happen. When you are healed do a test sandwich to make sure it doesn't happen again.
Good luck with you knee. |
Sorry to hear about your unfortunate incident with your thread. Good luck with your knee replacement. Once the procedure is completed, you'll be so happy that you had it done.
