but I am on here looking at beautiful pics of quilts-oh well

jlong 08-07-2010 06:19 AM

I'm right here with you.

Yarn or Fabric 08-07-2010 06:20 AM

I should be crocheting. I have a design I've been working on this week and I should be doing that but I don't like sitting in the living room all day or hiding in my craft room all day on the weekends...

I'm right there with you ;)

Dancing Needle 08-07-2010 06:21 AM

I know what you mean. I should be getting ready for work!

juneeloonee 08-07-2010 06:28 AM

just a few more mintues to get the juices revving (by looking at the beautiful quilts on this site!) and then I'm off to the sewing machine. I find my time here very well spent! This has become my favorite go-to place.
Happy browsing and drooling, happy dreaming and planning, happy conversing the same language!

applique 08-07-2010 06:49 AM

Me too. This is my break then back to work inspired and ready to go!!

BABAREEBA 08-07-2010 07:30 AM

I have to set the timer and limit myself. If I sew as much as I read on here, I 'd be getting a lot accomplished.

Aunt Retta 08-07-2010 07:38 AM

Yes, I should be cleaning! My sewing room is also my scrapbooking room, my craft storage room, my polymer clay room, my computer room and where I carry on my ebay busisness, and it is all in a not too big bedroom. If anything is out of place, it makes it hard to do anything.

OH man, You have the cutest avatar. Love the dolls. Right now the computer is all I CAN do. Haven't been cleared by doctor yet to get back to sewing yet. It's driving me crazy. Trying to figure out what I can do that won't compromise my recovery. Maybe some hand work, but that's it. No bending over the table to cut. No lifting. It all sounds so simple until I try and realize I can't do the littlest things. How annoying!!!!!!!

I spend WAY too much time here when I should be sewing! My DH calls it cybersewing!

My name is Melinda, and I am a Quiltingboardaholic

Jim's Gem 08-07-2010 11:56 AM

Yea, this keeps me away from quilting more than I should let it.

quiltinghere 08-07-2010 01:58 PM

ahhhh right here with ya!

My list is not getting any shorter . . . but the days are.

eightylady 08-07-2010 02:32 PM

quilterguy27...sorry that your activities have been curtailed and hope you are improving daily, and looking forward to some pix posts when you recover.

deedum 08-07-2010 05:53 PM

Yep, I spend more time on here than I should, I think I will go to my sewing room, where projects are awaiting and instead I am checking the lastest posts here!

MonicaLW 08-09-2010 04:51 AM

quiltmom04 08-09-2010 05:20 AM

jackiesmith 08-09-2010 06:14 AM

need to get ready for work :( Would much rather work on my baby quilts! I just enjoy being here and learning and being inspired by so many amazing people.

grandme26 08-09-2010 09:02 AM

I'm staying with a cousin to celebrate my Uncle's birthday and did not bring any quilting, knitting or crocheting with me. Boring.

costumegirl 08-09-2010 09:09 AM

If I sewed as much as I'm online I would have so many projects completed!!!! Unfotunately I like being online and reading about different techniques and seeing all of the creative ideas that everyone is so willing to share!! I guess I should limit my time becase after clicking around and checking this and reading that it seems like hours can fly by and I'm still just surfing and my sewing machine is sitting by herself.
Ok, Ok - I confess!! I am an online addict and a Fabriholic!!! What a combination!! I better get to my machine she is calling my name ;)

Friendly Quilter 08-09-2010 09:31 AM

I spend to much time on here as well, but I do not want to miss anything. I enjoying reading all the posts and welcoming new people and I love looking at the quilts.

Amen Sister!! ;-) ;) I used to get alot more done in my daily life before the internet. Been an addict since 1994. I don't think there is any cure!

klgreene 08-09-2010 11:24 AM

Yep here also, but today instead of coming here first, I waited until I cut out one of JennyPenny's card trick blocks. Otherwise I'm on here learning more and more I want to try.

zz-pd 08-10-2010 12:36 AM

Me too. God bless.

Hi Doug, Wonder if you could use some kind of lap tray and do some kind ? of needlework or whatever tickles your fancy...just a thought. I t wouldn't require much bending so maybe? a possibility ?
