I'm new to the machine and frame game, but I learned a new lesson this week. Mark it before the frame! I wonder if anyone has ever taken one off before its finished and put it back on? Oh well live and learn.

yes, some of us have had the need to remove a quilt from the frame- then re-load it-
it is not that difficult to do- i take it you have started quilting? depending on where you started it might be a chore to reload- but you can do it...if you started at an end when you reload just start with the quilted part- if you started quilting in the middle it takes a little more work because you have to make sure to have every thing even and wrinkle free from the center- but it is still do-able |

You might want to consider making zippered leaders. It makes removal and putting back on a breeze. You can do it yourself for not much money.
