I have it almost half way done....and I promise that the minute it is off the machine I will take pics and post them. I'm really excited about how it is turning out. It's close the the size of a crib quilt. Can't wait to finish it!!!! Just wish I had the day off tomorrow so I didn't have to go to work.

I've only seen them hand quilted. I never thought to do a whole cloth on the machine! DUH!!!!!!!!!! I'd love to see it when you're done! :)

I can't wait to see it! I have wanted to do one for SO long! Was it a pre-printed quilt design?? I have only seen queen/king size and because I only hand-quilt, I have shied away because of the time it would take! But I REALLY want to do one!!

I just hand sketched the lines for me to follow for the feathering. I can't wait to see it. Once I get something smaller done, I could see myself doing a bigger one. I found kits and they aren't cheap. That's shy I thought I'd start out just doing it my own way and see how I like it.

if you don't want to design your own, then you can use stencils for major motifs and connect with grid.
