I wanna CRY....any suggestions?
 

I made this wall hanging & was so pleased with how it turned out. Today I was happily starting to quilt it and was liking how the quilting was looking and then I saw it...I have appliqued the holly leaves & berries in the wrong spot. They're supposed to be over the green sashing. What do I do? Taking the quilting out will be a pain, but I can do that. Will it hurt the fabric to tear the leaves & berries off? I used ironed on fusible. I'm just sick. Please let me know if there is a special way to take the fused piece off. Thanks!

I think it looks lovely just how it is! It doesn't look like the berries and holly are in the wrong place.

I don't think there is any way to remove fusible after it's stuck on, but I could be wrong.

Just wanted you to know that I think it looks pretty as is.

I think I read if you reheat it with the iron it may come off more easily. Maybe someone else knows for sure. I like the way it looks as is. Very nicely done.

I also think it looks lovely as is. I don't think anyone is going to notice except you.

I agree with Gayle - I'd never have thought there was a problem until you pointed it out!

I don't know of a way to remove fusible either. Is this something you can live with? If you can, I say just let it pass. It's possible the fix will end up looking weird.

If *I* were going to try to remove fusible, I'd re-heat it with the iron and see if it could be peeled off. No idea if that will work and might leave residue and weirdness behind, though, so I'd say make a plan "B" for covering up the area if that looks bad. Maybe applique a white or light green circle over the whole area and put new berries & leaves inside the circle? Sort of like an ornament?

Why not put some berries and leaves on the end bauble and on the sashing. This will then indicate the top.you could doa line of leaves and berries along the top joining them all together.
Can we see all this fantastic quilt.

Can you just add another set of leaves into the correct spot? I would be afraid of leavind a smudge where they were pulled off. Very pretty quilt.

Artistic license! I have the magazine with that quilt. I had to go get the magazine, compare the picture in it with your picture, and I still didn't see the difference at first. If it really bothers you, you could add more holly and berries at the top of the other top ornament and on the sashing where it's missing - would make it more balanced.

I would add more berries and leaves, in fact a lot of them all in the sashings and borders. If the pattern had shown it that way you would added them.
