Bargellos are tough that way--close up you see the fabrics but not the effect, farther away you see the effect but no movement. :-D

I ordered more floral! It's a newer one by Moda--Summer Breeze. I had ordered the blue from somewhere before, so am adding the yellow to my collection. :thumbup:

It IS a wonderful site--I highly recommend it--high quality and fair prices. I love the way it's arranged too.

Well, Karla I ordered the book "Twist and Turn Bargellos" and just got it yesterday. I've been wanting to do a Surf Song in Aurora Borealis colors. But I was terribly disappointed to see that she has you do the tube thing. That is why I had never done a bargello before, because I absolutely have a mental block about that method. Or maybe it should be called a "mental balk"! :lol: ;-) I put the book down out of disappointment. Maybe I can pick it up later and figure out how to do it without making tubes. :cry:

Gaigai---just don't do the tube thing! I didn't!! Just follow the chats for sewing the strips together and ignore the tube thing--follow the numbers!!! It's fine!!! Really! :thumbup:
