I'm hosting a tea for new quilting friends in July. In addition to show & tell & snack, I'd like to prepare an activity. I'm thinking of a simple applique but wonder if any of you have any other ideas.

you can make it like a game where you hand out two numbers and the people have to talk to one another to find their match and then they do the applique. one person gets the top and one person gets the bottom and they have to share it kind of thing. but they each get their own block to take home.

Small English paper piecing project.. they have small Christmas decorations ... Never too early to start :wink:
