Ha! Francie, that used to be my technique, too. That's how my rooms got painted, new flooring got put in, and the bathroom was retiled! In our new house I've just purchased my own power tools or hired people to do the work. Much easier.

I just get on a google site and print off a set of instructions, plead total ignorance to an experienced- looking hardware salesman...etc. Good Luck.

Ha ha... this is also my modus operandus

I am off to sand and stain the deck! :D

You think they would catch on sooner or later, wouldn't you!

My DMIL wanted her main entry door moved and after the regular heming and hawing she took a sledge hammer to the wall where she wanted the door. Went clear through the siding. Piece of cake, she got her new door.

Hi Krystna.. Welcome back.. Happy to hear that you gave the island another chance.. I can understand you not taking a chance at the beach. I wonder if the humidity dropped in the basement because the humidity was outrageously high before the storm, and dropped after.. I was running the a/c, and turned it off, and opened the windows this morning..
