ideas/help for doing a row by row quilt

Next month I will be traveling to Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania and possibly Canada. I'm planning my route to drag my friends with me to as many quilt shops as possible. I thought it would be cool to do some kind of row by row and get something for each row at a different shop. (Okay, now that I've put it in writing and read it, I think I've bitten off more than I can chew!).

Does anyone have any ideas or site suggestions for finding help in this matter?

I believe each state has some examples on Facebook. Click on the state and you'll see the list of shops to go to. I know Minnesota's fave boo address is shown on the left of their page.

Everlasting Stitches in Holt, Yard's of Fabric and Kean's in Mason, Hen House in Charlotte, Attic Window's and others in Grand Rapids. Check out the Michigan Row by Row Experience web site.

Row by Row has a website. Go to that and it will give the shops that are participating in each state. You can then to to the shops site if you want more information as some have the row by row example on their site. I have done this while traveling and it's worked for me. Here's the link to the website http://www.rowbyrowexperience.com/
