Ideas for quilting the Back Track pattern

I am looking for ideas on how to quilt the Back Track quilt. I don't do FMQ and want to keep the modern look with the quilting. All suggestioins are welcome. Thank you.

Edited to add a link to pattern to a pinterest image.

I think I would crosshatch this one. That's a purdy pattern. :) I'd love to see your's.

I've been wondering how to quilt it. I thought about a crosshatch but not sure it's what I want to do.
My quilt isn't finished yet...almost have top completed but need to 'unsew' a part and not looking forward to that!

If you want to do straight line quilting, I would quilt vertices straight lines lining up with the small square size. Be aware that straight lines all stitched in the same direction tend to distort the fabric a bit.

I too think the crossshatch would be perfect for this quilt. It will give a good full dimensional to the quilt.

What about doing narrower, straight line quilting in the white (I'd maybe change the direction when I came to an intersection) and then do continous curves int the squares and perhaps just 1/4"in from sides of color stripes.

You can do gentle curves with your walking foot. I think I'd do lines of them across the quilt, perhaps somewhat irregularly spaced, but not parallel. Nice pattern!

Thank you for the replies. I am still undecided. Need to mull on it a bit more. Anyone else have suggestions?

I second or third the straight line quilting vertically. I think it would keep the modern look.
