Ideas for quilting?

[ATTACH=CONFIG]484841[/ATTACH]I was thinking about just echoing the flying geese and then either meander or cross-hatch in the middle. Does anyone have any great ideas? It's late, I'm hot, I'm whiny. I want to start on this first thing in the morning so I can finally get it done!!! It's haunting me...

I would SITD around the cross and doves. I would then do rays radiating out from the cross to the border. I would then SITD the flying geese and maybe put a design in the center of each.

Rays radiating out from the cross was the first thing that came to mind for me.

I can't see the center of the quilt very well with the photo you posted but I would just cross hatch the background using the directions of the geese as my guide and outline the applique design in the center and the flying geese. Good Luck
